It's easy to think of writing as a lonely effort — it's a narrative that has been perpetuated for decades.
But in my experience, writing grows and glows when it's collaborative, even if the seed of the idea came from you. It takes on nuances when you hand it over to a neutral but kind third party who will go over it, kill your darlings, and leave actionable feedback for you.
That's what I hope to do with this pilot project.
I'd like you to bring any personal essays or writing-as-thinking pieces that you've been stuck on (like this one that I helped the CEO of Obvious bring to life).
I will help unblock you on things like flow, narrative, clarity of thought, and focus so you can springboard off that to figure out your writing style and tone.
I'm an award-winning writer who has been writing and editing for well over a decade, and have had essays published in online and print publications. I've also played the role of a sounding board, editor and writing coach for CXOs and entrepreneurs who have great ideas but don't know how to articulate them.
My feedback is thorough, actionable, and well in line with the kind of writing that you want to put out there (which is why I ask you to specify your intent at the top of your document).

intent with this essay
why you are writing this
what you need help with, and
(optionally) whose writing style you admire (with a link if possible)
